Jamaican trio Israel Vibration’s origin story of hardships – including childhood poverty, diagnoses of polio, and struggle for spiritual and cultural identity – informed their roots style music and lyrical themes, resonating with reggae fans around the world. “Cool and Calm” was a refreshing change from hair metal and punk in the '80s and brings some fun bass lines to your reggae songbook.
