In this lesson, we’ll show you how to play the prechorus from “Roxanne” by The Police. We’ll be using a lot of the same material we’ve already learned in the intro and verse, but we’ll also be adding in some new power chords and an eighth note strum to build to the chorus.

You’ll be playing:

  • Cm7, Fsus4, Gsus4, G5, C5 and Bb5
  • Quarter note strum
  • Staccato strum
  • String muting
  • Eighth note strum
  • Chord anticipations
