The fifth verse of “Heartbreak Hotel” is much like the previous verses, only now you’ll be adding some flashy triplet riffs to bring it home. This lesson will show you how to play this final verse just like the pros do.

By the end, you’ll be playing:

  • Chords: E, A7, B7, E, Fmaj7 and Emaj7
  • String muting
  • Syncopated strumming
  • Arpeggio picking
  • Double stops
  • Triplet stops
  • Hybrid picking
  • Eighth note triplet strum
  • Chord anticipation
  • Swing feel
