Drill Chords: C, Am and F

As you start to learn how to play songs on your ukulele, you will also have to learn how to transition smoothly between chords. This can be difficult at first, since you’re going to have to maneuver your fret hand around while strumming with your rhythm hand to the beat. However, there are a few techniques that every beginner should learn to help with chord changes. Identifying similar chord shapes (like F, A minor and C) and figuring out which chords share finger placement in common will make chord transitions so much easier. Practicing switching between similar chords is really fun and will help you find these chords with less effort.
